【摘要】:SpecifiesTwistedPairPhysicalLayerMediumDependent(TP-PMD)requirementsfortheFibreDistributedDataInterface(FDDI).FDDIprovidesahigh-bandwidth(100Mbit/s)general-purposeinterconnectionamongcomputersandperipheralequipmentusingfibreopticsandtwistedpairasthetransmissionmedium.FDDIcanbeconfiguredtosupportasustaineddatatransferrateofatleast80Mbit/s(10Mbyte/s).Itmaynotmeettheresponsetimerequirementsofallunbufferedhigh-speeddevices.FDDIprovidesconnectivityformanynodesdistributedoverdistancesofseveralkilometersinextent.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO5659specifiesamethodofmeasuringsmokeproductionfromtheexposedsurfaceofspecimensofessentiallyflatmaterials,compositesorassembliesnotexceeding25mminthicknesswhenplacedinahorizontalorientationandsubjectedtospecifiedlevelsofthermalirradianceinaclosedcabinetwithorwithouttheapplicationofapilotflame.Thismethodoftestisapplicabletoallplasticsandmayalsobeusedfortheevaluationofothermaterials(e.g.rubbers,textile-coverings,paintedsurfaces,woodandothermaterials).Itisintendedthatthevaluesofopticaldensitydeterminedbythistestbetakenasspecifictothespecimenorassemblymaterialintheformandthicknesstested,andarenottobeconsideredinherent,fundamental,properties.Thetestisintendedprimarilyforuseinresearchanddevelopmentandinfiresafetyengineeringofbuildings,trains,ships,etc.,andnotasabasisforratingsforbuildingcodesorotherpurposes.Nobasisisprovidedforpredictingthedensityofsmokethatmaybegeneratedbythematerialsuponexposuretoheatandflameunderother(actual)exposureconditions,norisanycorrelationestablishedwithmeasurementsderivedfromothertestmethods.Thistestprocedureexcludestheeffectofirritantsontheeye.Itisemphasizedthatsmokeproductionfromamaterialvariesaccordingtotheirradianceleveltowhichthespecimenisexposed.Inmakinguseoftheresultsofthismethod,itshouldbeborneinmindthattheresultsarebasedonexposuretothespecificirradiancelevelsof25kW/m2and50kW/m2.
